The song “In Your Atmosphere”, by John Mayer is also known as “L.A. Song”. It was originally written and performed by John Mayer. It tells the story of a heartbroken singer, who wants to avoid the hometown of his, presumably, former lover. The song remained unpublished until Mayer’s 2008 live album titled “Where the Light Is”. He told a live audience in Birmingham, Alabama, during his Battle Studies tour, that he wrote the song on a tour bus.
